Game 10: Riverdale Baptist Falls Short Against Our Lady Of Mount Carmel

In a great showing, DeQuan Abrom scored 18 points, but this was not enough as Riverdale Baptist School fell to Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School 63-61. On a two-pointer from David EreborOur Lady of Mount Carmel High School clinched their win in the fourth quarter.

Riverdale Baptist School and Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School were tied up at 23-23 at the half, but Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School ran away with the lead in the second half. Even though Riverdale Baptist School added 20 points in the final quarter, it wasn’t enough to overcome their opponent.

Abrom led Riverdale Baptist School ‘s offense, going 6-for-11 (55%) from the field while also sinking 75% (6-for-8) of free throws attempted.

Jasper Sterling hit three three-pointers and scored nine points total. Deion Hammondtapped out at double digits, scoring 11 points for Riverdale Baptist School (4-for-9). Also contributing for Riverdale Baptist School were Malik Dupree (5 points), Kenny Wormley (5 points), Tavar Merriman (4 points), Cyril Ogbuagu (3 points, 1 block), Curtis Williams (2 points), Isaiah Robinson (2 points, 1 block) and Raine McKeython (2 points).
