In a battle of competing prides, the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Lions (MD) fell to the Lions of Bishop Loughlin (NY), 58-40, despite Tyler Stewart’s 14 point effort.
Bishop Loughlin (NY) used an 18-point second quarter to extend their lead to 18 by halftime. The third and fourth quarters were dead even, but the first half proved to be too much for St. Andrew’s Episcopal to overcome.
Markquis Nowell and Keith Williams combined for 36 points for Bishop Loughlin, 26 in the first half.
Austin Allen contributed 6 points and Anthony Duruji had 5 for St. Andrew’s while Jeremy Betjol added in 8 for Bishop Loughlin.
