The directions below are to the Carmody Center at Gonzaga College High School and to Bender Arena at The American University where the DC Classic will be held.

The Washington Post website provides extensive information about all modes of transportation in the Washington metropolitan area, including taxi fares and Metrorail and Metrobus routes, schedules, and fares. In addition, out-of-town visitors should know that the Washington Post Weekend Section in the Friday edition of the newspaper and the Style Section on their website contain much information on places to eat and things to see and do in the Washington DC area in your free time away from the tournament.

The American University is located at Ward Circle, the intersection of Massachusetts and Nebraska Avenues, in the upper northwest section of Washington, D.C. Bender Arena, where the DC Classic games will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16, is located in the center of the campus and can be found on a map of the campus here.

By Bus or Metro: From Union Station, National Airport, or downtown Washington: Washington's Metro subway trains run Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to midnight; Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to midnight. The closest Metro stop to The American University is Tenleytown/AU (also called Tenley Circle) on the Red Line. Metro buses run regularly from Tenley Circle to American's campus, less than a mile away. Metro can give you information on specific routes and timetables for buses and subways.
