St. Raymond (NY) Stops St. Andrew’s Episcopal (MD)

St. Raymond (Bronx, NY) was just too big and too fast for St. Andrew’s Episcopal (Potomac, MD) in today’s Fifth Place game at the 27th Gonzaga DC Classic tournament. St. Raymond led throughout the game, building steadily on a lead that was six points after the first quarter and 13 by halftime. St. Andrew’s could not overcome poor shooting, going 14/53 or 26% from the floor.

St. Raymond scoring was led by Junior Forward Sidney Wilson, with 21 points. Following the game, Wilson was named to the All-Tournament team. Isaiah Washington, also a Junior, had 12 points for the Ravens.

Tyler Stewart, a senior, led the scoring for St. Andrew’s with 13. George Muresan, also a senior, had 8 points for the Lions.
