Gonzaga (DC) sank a tournament record number of shots beyond the arc and were victorious against Archbishop Molloy (NY) 84-58 on Saturday.
With an inspiring 25-point second quarter on the strength of an 18-4 run, Gonzaga (DC) pulled ahead and eventually claimed a 48-24 lead by halftime.
Great play from the field made Hubb stand out, as he made 46% (6-for-13) of shots attempted as well as 50% (4-for-8) of threes attempted.
Two other players also racked up double digit scores for Gonzaga (DC). Chris Lykes racked up 16 points and Eddie Scott added 15 points. Myles Dread (15 points) and Michael Meyers (9 points) each had multiple three-pointers. Also contributing for Gonzaga (DC) were Terrance Williams (9 points), Chuck Harris (2 points), and Anwar Gill (2 points).
